Any meeting, regardless of its focus or orientation, must extend the hand of help and recovery to any compulsive eater who seeks to enter, for this is how we share our program with one another. All meetings are closed unless otherwise noted. A closed meeting means that all those attending meet the only requirement for membership – they want to stop eating compulsively.
Meeting whose listings are italicized are not part of Central Jersey Intergroup and are listed as a courtesy.

Big Book Meeting – Meeting reads from the Big Book of AA, followed by discussion.
Speaker Meeting – an abstinent member shares their experience, strength, and hope often combined with
Beginner/Discussion format
Revolving Format – reads and discusses a combination of literature, often BB one week and a Step another
Step Study/Discussion/Writing – Meeting reads from OA/AA step books, followed by writing and/or discussion
H.O.W. – specific format
Special Focus – see specific listings These meetings remain open to all who desire to attend.
